General Info

Tucked inside Hotel Indigo Taipei North, Spice Market Hotel Indigo Taipei North Store brings a lively and modern take on Thai cuisine right into the heart of Taipei. Located at 104053, Taiwan, Taipei City, Zhongshan District, ZhiFu Rd, 200號4樓 Hotel Indigo Taipei North, 4F, this Thai restaurant feels polished without becoming too formal, making it a comfortable choice for everything from casual dinners to special nights out with friends.

One thing that immediately stands out on the menu is the balance between rich Thai flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The 打拋豬 delivers that familiar savory and slightly spicy kick people expect from authentic Thai comfort food, while the 月亮蝦餅 comes crispy on the outside with a juicy shrimp filling that pairs perfectly with its sweet dipping sauce. For seafood lovers, the 生魚片 and 甜蝦干貝 selections add a fresher, more refined touch to the dining experience, giving the restaurant a menu that feels varied and thoughtfully curated.

The drinks also deserve attention here. Many guests order the 泰奶, which has a creamy texture and deep tea flavor that works especially well alongside the stronger spices in the main dishes. There’s also a good alcohol selection available, making the restaurant feel ideal for relaxed evening meals or small gatherings. On quieter afternoons, the coffee options help create a slower and more comfortable dining atmosphere.

The overall vibe feels modern, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. The restaurant is LGBTQ+ friendly, which adds to the inclusive atmosphere many diners appreciate today. Service moves smoothly, and because the location inside Hotel Indigo Taipei North attracts both locals and travelers, making reservations ahead of time is definitely a smart idea. Guests driving into the area will also appreciate the convenience of a paid parking garage nearby.

From the stylish interior to the carefully arranged plates, the experience feels consistent from start to finish. Reviews often mention how the restaurant blends upscale presentation with approachable flavors, and that combination is exactly what makes this Taipei dining spot memorable. What customers say?

“ The entrance was a little bit confused. The restaurant located upstairs at hotel Indigo Dazhi, so you had to take the elevator from the hotel entrance. Beautiful and comfortable environment. Spacious seats were great. Raw scallops were pretty fresh. It was my favorite one of sashimi area. Tom yum goon was authentic! How hot and sour of the soup, love it. Durian handmade pizza was awesome. The durian was rich. If you were a durian lover, didn’t miss it. Fried and grilled food were normal. Deep-fried shrimp cake and moon shrimp patties were super thick. Taihu Thai lemongrass beer was impressive and suitable for Thai food. Every drink was tasty. DIY Bubur cha cha was interesting. Haagen-Dazs ice cream was nice. Especially sorbet raspberry and mango passionfruit flavors. Overall, it was a good buffet experience. But a little bit pricey. ”

“ Buffet that serves only Thai cuisine. Yum yum yum. We were seated in an area facing drinks and dessert. Those chairs and tables are not the ideal eating heights since you have to curl a bit when you eat. It's not so ideal for a buffet as a customer. Besides that, everything is marvelous. Loving the choices of thai food. Crazy about the shirmp ball but not the famous "moon shrimp cake". The shrimp ball is firm and juicy but the moon style is too soggy inside. I do feel like I I'm in Thailand. The vibe is very authentic. Can't complain about anything else since they are all very nice. I would like to come again if I have my chance next time. ”

“ I really enjoy the food and service there, although there is room to improve. The seafood is fresh and in a pretty good variety. The service is good but not attentive enough. I understand it’s a Thai theme place but it would be lovely to add some local elements. ”
